Hi, my name is Aaliyah and I am a psychology major here at 优德app. I enjoy running and going to the gym, watching telenovelas and true crime shows, thrifting, and listening to music. I became a peer counselor because I want to be an advocate for mental health and reduce the stigma on campus. I love to help where I can and provide a listening ear to those who may need guidance. My strengths are in helping with stress and time management, combatting microaggressions, and practicing self-care. As your peer counselor I will strive to be relatable, supportive, and provide resources you may need.

Hi! I’m Laura, I’m a senior majoring in psychology and minoring in medical sociology. On campus, I enjoy being involved with different Wellbeing@优德app events and learning more about the resources we have here. Off campus, I like playing guitar, thrift shopping, and hanging out with my cat. As a peer counselor, I have experience with being a transfer student and commuter, as well as with time management skills. I hope to see you soon!

Justin is a Communications junior at Kennesaw State University and has been the student representative of the Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery for the past two years. Justin is a nontraditional student who has learned how to navigate college through trial and error and has learned how to ask for help from the resources available to him. Being a male student, he understands the struggles of navigating this time of growth on campus and throughout early adulthood. “I am here to listen and provide practical solutions to any problems that may come up throughout this journey. I want everyone to have the opportunity to make college a place they can look back on with a smile.”
Student Assistant
Hi y’all! My name is Anna and I am a senior Psychology student born and raised in Atlanta. When I am not in the Well-Nest I enjoy hiking and camping, reading, cooking, photography, and visiting thrift and antique stores. As a peer counselor, I can relate to managing stress, feelings of isolation/loneliness, and self-esteem/confidence, but am here to listen and talk beyond these.

Major: Integrated Health Science with a minor in Public Health
I specifically want to work with students on promoting the resources available on campus and helping them overcome the feeling of loneliness while on campus. My goal is to assist students in reaching out, making meaningful connections, and fostering relationships they will later cherish in the long run.
As a peer counselor, I am here to support and encourage students while they navigate their way through college. I’d like to help support students in overcoming their challenges. I aspire to be a reliable support system, offering a listening ear and guidance regarding available resources.
